Our community is named Holy Comforter because we are a community that is led by the Holy Spirit which has been given to us in our baptism (Romans 8:14). God has called all of us to ministry, meaning that all of us have been given special gifts to use for the purpose of serving God and serving others. In our community, God has raised up some of us to be leaders in the exercise of ministry. Some of us are paid staff and some of us are volunteers. But all of us are united in God’s calling for us to be servant leaders, modeling God’s love for the world.
